Believe It or Not #10 (1931)
** 1/2 (out of 4)
Tenth film in the series has Ripley on a U.S. Navy ship where he tells the men that they've got a few things they've never came across before. We start off with a "walking street lamp" from China, which is actually a man with a small hole in his head, which he puts a candle in as we walks around. We also meet a dog in Kansas City that has a charge account with a local store. Each day the dog will go there and eat and later in the month its owner will pay the bill. We also see a 102-year-old man and a blind man who has spent 25-years working as a switch board operator. Then in Toledo, OH we see a 6-year-old boy who can shave, pick up 200-lb men and smokes large cigars. This is another good entry in the series, which thankfully once again features actual video clips of the stuff we're seeing. The series is so much better being done this way where we don't just have to rely on Ripley's voice.
