Amazing show
chickensinga29 May 2011
Yes, this show presented horror & Science fiction trailers. But it was much more than that. In the beginning episodes, Tom Davis is drinking heavily, doing drugs... just generally stoned out of his mind. (Acting I would assume.) Then... the Sci-Fi channel must've reeled him in & all he did was host this thing, acting like any TV host would. But...those first shows were outrageously funny. Davis had some sidekick that would bring him to, after he passed out from whatever libation he was doing on camera. I could not believe I was seeing this on ANY TV station, let alone on the "UP-TIGHT" Sci-Fi channel. (I do not watch this boring channel anymore, too many con-jobs on their "Ghost Hunters" program. & that generally represents the rest of their programming.) Find this, (first season of Trailer Park,) you'll love it.

Great show for cult movie fans
C. M. O'Brien18 February 2001
This quirky show ran at odd hours on the Sci-Fi channel a few years ago, and featured the original theatrical trailers for mostly B science fiction and horror flicks, but occasionally those of decent ones like 2001: A Space Odyssey and Blade Runner. Viewers who find themselves drawn to this type of fare, might have found certain trailers made them want to seek out many of the obscure titles. Some of them were hilarious; others made me remember what a waste of time the actual movies were. I suppose this is a sad sign of today's cultural illiteracy, but it seems the old trailers displayed a lot more writing on the screen. No matter how bad the movie or ad, at least they were short, unlike today where the ads shown in theaters can be five minutes or more and spell out the entire movie.

Trailer Heaven For Fans of Classic Sci-Fi/Horror 'B' Films!
ClassixFan3 April 2006
Oh yes, this was a fantastic little TV show. Personally, I adore classic sci-fi/horror film trailers and this was a Sunday night staple for me, when it was airing on the Sci-Fi Channel. I'm sure the advent of DVDs has put less of a need for a series like this, but not all classic sci-fi/horror DVDs offer original theatrical trailers and I, personally, could watch this stuff for hours. I was introduced to classic sci-fi/horror films on TV as a kid, through late-night Friday night viewings as well as Saturday afternoon viewings and quite often, the original theatrical trailer was used for the preview of what was coming either that day or in the upcoming week(s). While there are a few DVD trailer compilations out there geared towards classic sci-fi/horror fans, there certainly isn't enough and it would be fantastic to see this series put out on DVD. I mean, how can fans not love a series that caters to your love of classic sci-fi/horror films and offers trailers for films like; The Wasp Woman, The Killer Shrews, Night of the Lepus, Beginning of the End, Reptilicus, The Monster That Challenged the World, etc.?
