Zen on a really off day
lor_8 August 2017
The title suggests a rollicking '80s trifle, whether hard or soft in core, and the sort of movie I saw endlessly at drive-ins. But instead it's a poorly made Michael Zen offering from the turn of this century, as crummy in the zen master's playbook as the recent, regrettable stint of Phil Jackson ruling (and running into the ground) the New York Knicks.

Big Mike can't resist being pretentious no matter how low he's diving, so each scene has an elaborate identifying super-title for the female character involved with a time stamp out of Hitchcock thriller territory. But all we get to watch is a series of dull sex scenes set at the sorority Tri-Tw*t (how amusing!, that IMDb wouldn't let me spell in in a review!), with poor casting of several lookalike blondes headed by Vivid contract girls Sky & Dasha. In fact Dasha, without the big breasts which I remember her by, is the only thing worthwhile in the picture, contributing that good ole Euro anal sex and d.p. action the fans dote upon. In one scene she seems to give a little squirt, judging more by the pool of liquid on the table she's humping upon, rather than the usual "fountain of urine/Poland Spring" we're used to seeing in porn.

Having seen so many of these campus hi jinks movies in my youth, I was singularly unimpressed for what Zen posited as story content, no writing credit displayed, to protect the guilty. The in-fighting at the sorority, mistreatment of pledges, rivalry with others on campus -all these workable though trite clichés are not present, as instead nothing much happens. Tyce Bune plays a bewildered professor who naturally gets some young nookie before the end credits roll, but otherwise this video should have been left as a VHS only artifact, rather than inflicted on u DVD generation souls. It's obscure enough to have escaped the streaming and torrent fate, so I'll sign off with an RIP, Michael Zen -no hard feelings.
