I think with there possibilities and this staff (a couple of amateur actors) the result is very good and plaisant. Nothing lacks, all what a western movie needs is present. A little bit " Man who shot Liberty Valance" a little bit "High Noon", a little bit "Rio Bravo" and so on, I enjoyed about Familiy Autry, mainly Kimberlee. A movie for entertainment together with kids.

Great story!

Excellent story and plot. Alan Autry did great on his first time directing. Characters were down to earth and realistic. The best scene in the movie is when Jake finally "listens" to God and helps the townspeople. The ending of the movies was a perfect set up for a new series. I wish this was a book so move of Jake's background could have been seen.
