'Baat Ban Jaye' is a 1986 bollywood film, that I enjoyed because of it's outstanding star-cast. The film is a comedy about a worried uncle wanting his niece to get married before he dies, the only problem is that his niece hates rich guys. Now he has to find a poor guy whose well mannered.

'Baat Ban Jaye' works because of it's star-cast. Late Legends Utpal Dutt, Sanjeev Kumar & Jalal Aaga deliver first-rate performances. Dutt is extra-ordinary. Watch him in the scene when he keeps forgetting Viju Khote's name, it's hilarious. Kumar n Aaga do well. Current Legends Mithun, Zeenat Aman, Aruna Irani, Amol Palekar, Raj Babbar, Jagdeep & Shakti Kapoor excel as well. Mithun's episode is the best episode in the lot, he's superb.

Watch this flick... it's quite funny.

One Of The Best in Comedy Genre.

Baat Ban Jaye Directed By Bharat Rangachary (Hrishikesh Mukherjee Assistant) is A Comedy Drama. Script & Screenplay Are Praiseworthy. Direction Has Touch Of Mukherjee & Basu Chatterjee Movies Which Delved Into Social & Moral Issues. Dialogues & Comedy is Brilliant. Editing is Fine. Cast is A Big Plus.

Nisha Singh(Zeenat Aman) is A Wealthy Businesswoman, Wants To Marry A Poor & Honest Man. Her Uncle Mr. Singh(Utpal Dutt) Visits Her And Stays With Her For A While. To Get Her Married, He Tries To Find A Suitable Match For Her. In The Process Comic Situations Are Created Which Has Hilarious Results.

Acting Wise, Utpal Dutt Gives One Of His Best Performance in A Comic Role. He is Just Outstanding. Sanjeev Kumar Was A Gifted Actor, He is Exceptional. Amol Palekar Excels in Comedy Scenes. Mithun Chakraborty As Usual, Natural Talent Has An Action Scene Too. Raj Babbar is Fine. Jeenat Aman is Just OK. Shakti Kapoor, Aruna Irani & Jalal Agha Are Good in Limited Screen Space.

Music By Kalyanji Anandji is Horrible. No Good Songs. Must Watch For It's Comedy & Star Cast.

Very good comedy movie. viewers will enjoy every minute of it. the story is about single-businesswoman Nisha singh (zeenat aman) and how her chachaji tries to find a suitable match for her who is poor and yet very decent. it contains a multi-star cast of amol Palekar, raj babbar, sanjeev kumar, Mithun, Jalal Agha etc. a Must-see.
