The film was restored by Blackpool resident Eurwyn Jones who negotiated use of the print, tracked down copyright holders to ensure it could be shared with fans across the world, and teamed up with Renown Pictures, who restore classic movies, putting the print through modern technology to present a crystal clear picture quality and sound.
Leonard Sachs (John Dawson) was the presenter of the BBC's The Good Old Days (1953): Hylda Baker first broke into Film and TV after an appearance on that show in 1956.
Baker had a starring role in this 1962 low-budget black-and-white British comedy film. Taking its title from her most famous catch-phrase, it is described by the BFI as a "low life comedy, unfolded against an industrial town backdrop".
The film is set in the fictional town of Pendleford, presumably in Lancashire.
