First off, I'd like to say that this is a TV SERIES (or maybe a miniseries), not a movie. That said, I like this show a whole lot.
The show (narrated by veteran voice actor Tony Jay) is very accurate, educational, and interesting. Facts, names, trivia, all pop up. You can learn a lot from this show.
Another good thing is the realism. Like the film "Gettysburg", it uses real Civil War reenactors. While most of the actors' dialogue can't be heard due to the narration, the actors at least look like who they're trying to portray.
Not much more I can say except, great job, History Channel.
Nine stars.
