"You'll Be Flat On The Ground, And Never Get Up Again!"...

Warning: Spoilers
DEVIL WOMAN opens with an unnatural birth, followed by a rash of deaths by snakebite. The child, named Manda, grows up into a little girl who wears what appears to be a cloth bowling bag on her head. She also has mystic abilities that give her control over serpents.

When the local kids attempt to remove her heinous headgear, Manda unleashes a beat down via snake attack, resulting in many deaths. The town takes revenge, killing Manda's parents and forcing her to run away.

Meanwhile, in a completely different movie, a man in a white suit named Su Wen battles bad guys with kung fu, never so much as wrinkling his awesome attire! Every hit sounds like someone having a pillow fight with bags of cement!

Back in that other movie, adult Manda (Divina Valencia) shows up, sending her slithery friends out to annihilate those who ruined her childhood. When a gang of goons come after her, she uses her powers, and becomes their leader!

Meanwhile, Su Wen keeps that suit spotless, no matter how many thugs he has to pound on.

Manda, for her part, smiles menacingly from her awesome new throne.

Su Wen can't even visit a family celebration without kung fu breaking out! He also finds romance, and we learn that in love, kung fu is best reserved for coconuts.

Su Wen and Manda finally meet when his girlfriend is abducted by Manda's goon squad. The ultimate battle royal ensues.

DW is one of those odd, completely preposterous Filipino films of the period that answers the question: Do snake girls get the blues?...
