Stripped of the "educational value" emphasis of a white coater porn film, SCHOOL FOR SEX is a programmer of little interest, revived anyway by Something Weird Video.
Not to be confused with an earlier British softcore pic of this title made by Pete Walker, this hardcore movie is merely a fake doc wherein "Cherie Kent" teaches a class of would-be porn actors how to perform in XXX movies. It's strictly dull, minimalist filmmaking, leading to a predictable "surprise" ending.
The gimmick here is that one doesn't need to hire talented or experienced porn thesps (e.g., Suzanne Fields, Sandy Dempsey, John Holmes, etc.) for this exercise, as anybody off the street will do. Problem is that the cast is completely unimpressive, especially in their explicit sex demos. The women are skanky and way out of shape, while the guys can't get it up -when one is chosen to demonstrate intercourse his problems in effecting an insertion are laughable (and as usual for cheap porn- no retakes!).
Irony is that circa 1971 talent that we now look back on as superstars performed for nominal salaries back in the day, so the anonymous hacks who made SCHOOL FOR SEX could have hired "name" thesps without substantially increasing their near-zero budget.
