I find myself still watching and listening to this, and it's been 16 years now since they made this masterpiece, unbelievable! But what an awesome legacy performance showcasing the talent of Layne Staley, and I believe this is the way that he should be remembered. Not trying to slight the other bandmembers as they were rock solid, but wow, what an amazing voice Layne had! His performance in this was raw, uneven, flawed, bordering incoherent at times, but yet totally amazing, wonderful, majestically voiced, and impossible to ignore.
Do yourself a favor and watch this again, or if you've never seen it, prepare to be blown away. Is it just me, or was music better back then?
