- Three female contestants one a champion competed. The champion was given two minutes and ran after her two opponents. Those two opponents were given one minute of base time and earned additional running time by answering a series of product-related questions (e.g., "What brand of soup uses the jingle, 'MMM, MMM, good?'" Answer Campbell's). When running around the supermarket selecting items, a maximum of five of a given item was counted toward the final score (e.g., five canned vegetables or five frozen waffles). Fleet-footed aides usually the produce boys at the supermarket where the show was taped that day helped load the shopping carts as each contestant scurried down the aisles. G.: Food Fair) without going over. It's Right, She'll Wins 5 seconds to The Champion Housewife's 1 Minute (2 Minutes as of Monday February 7, 1966 and up through Friday July 14, 1967) among The 2 Challenging Married Housewives' has the same time. It's Wrong, here's No Punishment of this and that for all the 3 housewives to answer it or otherwise remained stable when it's closest the item's price in the same and different supermarkets and after all 4 Questions Answered, All 3 Housewives are ready the big traditional "SUPERMARKET SWEEP" what the 3 housewife times are set and all established as they see in every supermarket in the Eastern U.S. (including Food Fair, A&P and Shop Rite) and able to take 1-5 things of the same product with overtake 5 things of the same product (i.e. 6) and the loudspeaker will tell 1 of the 3 housewives "Put Them Back Madam, Now" and The Housewife May Put 1 of These Back where it belongs without fines for overtake 5 like Making A Mess over 1 of All the Aisles, Banging Shopping Carts nor Overstuffed Carts (The Housewife will Change into A New Cart to Fill) and the "SUPERMARKET SWEEP's BONUS SURPRISES" are the presents are all value ranged from $5 to 50 ($10-100) in 1 of these selected ways with the sweep's pennant flags and the people counts down the last 10 Seconds the sweep and doing it into 2 Parts all the way to 0 and the loud school bell rings means the sweep's over and they can placed the groceries and surprises to the check-out cashiers to see how much the total of 1 of 3 Housewives did purchase 2 different ways as Mr. Malone Rings Up The Old Cash Register for each housewives' total in U.S. Dollars and Cents (i.e. U.S. $55.00) and to the highest total amount of groceries and surprises wins the 1st Match and s/he/they'll takes 10 Matches to Win A Grand Prize. Format #2: Monday February 7-Friday August 26, 1966. Now 3 Married House Husbands (It Includes A Returned Champion) are doing the same as Married Housewives. Format #3: Monday August 29, 1966 to Friday July 14, 1967. 3 Married Couples (or Others which includes the returning champions) are doing the same as the past 2 formats of this game show and from Monday April 24 to Friday July 14, 1967 The Show Finally Located at The Food Fair in Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The Stars of Show Business (especially network people includes ABC-TV) will play for charity along with 2 Family Members, etc. are whom are underage of 21 to play the game.
