Eternal triangle between a woman, her current husband and her ex
andy_morton30 April 2006
This was a nice story from the late eighties about a woman (Judy Loe), trying to decide whether to stay with her current husband, or to rekindle the relationship with her ex (Paul Freeman). This comes about because their son is leaving school and has to decide what he's going to do with his life. His father (Freeman) thinks he should go to university, so inevitably, communication lines are opened. The mother (Loe) starts to examine her life and compare her husband, the slightly scruffy owner of a small, country garage, with her ex, a suit wearing, Porsche driving engineer in the aerospace industry. I liked this series because it wasn't really a typical "eternal triangle" kind of story. There weren't any real slanging matches and there was a bit of a twist at the end too. Hard to believe, but it also encouraged me to change jobs.
