What a loss!
Sylviastel18 October 2006
Dana Plato had her share of problems in real life. She must have really wanted to be Kimberly Drummond herself. As Kimberly, she seemed to be the perfect Park Avenue teenage girl. Not completely spoiled, she really will always be remembered for her faults than her performance as Kimberly who was always smiling and cheery. In real life, she had more than share of problems with alcoholism and substance abuse. She had a son who she relinquished custody because she couldn't take care of him. Ironically, she was visiting him in Oklahoma at the time of her death. I don't she ever intended to commit suicide. I think it was an accident. I still think she could have lived longer and done more with her life whatever that they mean but Hollywood should take care of it's children like Dana Plato, Gary Coleman and Todd Bridges.
