Columbia Pictures has announced that a movie based on Return to Castle Wolfenstein is being planned.
An update of the original Wolfenstein 3D (1992) from 1992, which popularized the first-person shooter genre of games. Wolfenstein 3D was in turn based on a series of Castle Wolfenstein games produced for home computers such as the Apple II in the early 1980s.
