This movie was produced one year after the 67 Egyptian defeat, presented a window to the corruption in the Egyptian social, political and administrative systems. Foad ElMohandes's over the top acting style fitted perfectly as the exaggeration required for the effect of disposition pills. The script surpassed the original novel, this released the creativity of the director and script writer, a stark example are the pen scenes, awkward and expressive camera angles... etc. This hilarious classic with its' timeless jokes never gets old.
