An enjoyable flick

Warning: Spoilers
This movie is a copy of the Hollywood movie Overboard albeit with a lot of Bollywood masala added to it. Raja (Salman Khan) and his three nephews have an altercation with a snobbish Renu (Neelam) on various occasions. So when she loses her memory courtesy a boating accident, he brings her home to teach her a lesson by convincing her that she's his wife Rani. And in the process of "Taming the Shrew", he falls in love with her. The conflict is that she completely believes the lies he has told her so far and he doesn't want to let go of her. On the other hand, his conscience is smiting him for living a lie. In the end, he manages to save her from the wicked clutches of her uncle (how typical) and everyone lives happily ever after (Except the uncle and his family of course)

The music is good, Neelam is cute, charming and does a good job. Salman Khan is okay. Some scenes like when Neelam has to set the house right are hilarious. Its a fun movie and meant to be enjoyed.

Another underrrated gem in Salman's career

This is one of those movies which you do not get tired of watching over and over again. The film consists of a lucid plot, the music in this movie is flawless, the melodic voice of Kumar Sanu fits Salman Khan the best especially in the song "Kitna Pyaar Tumhe Karte Hain". Salman Khan as usual is at his witty best and is extremely charming throughout the movie. Neelam gives the standout performance in the movie, In the first half she plays the role of a rich, bratty girl who throws tantrums at whatever and whoever she finds not up to her standard of living. In the second half, she plays the role of a caring young mother who is grateful for everything and is also optimistic which is a complete contrast of her character in the first half. The chemistry between Salman and Neelam is dazzling. Sadly this was the last movie in which they were paired opposite each other as romantic lead. The three child actors in the movie also do a good job. Salim Khan who played the role of Choochoo also does his job well as a caring friend. The cumulative IMDB rating of this movie is way less than it deserves as this movie can be considered to be on the same level as HAHK as far as romance and comedy are concerned.

Sweet and Funny

Neelam Kothari plays a rich, arrogant, demanding girl, Remu, whose uncle has been embezzling from her. She has a run in with a poor farmer, Raja (Salman Khan), and has him thrown into jail. Her uncle attempts to murder her, and when she is found with amnesia, Raja decides to get his revenge on Remu by pretending she is his wife.

This romantic comedy is amusing and sweet, with some clever scenes. Khan is charming and Kothari plays her two roles (spoiled heiress and humble farmer's wife) quite well. There are some fun songs, but the choreography is not memorable. Overall, though, it's an enjoyable film.
