Impressive porn production
You wouldn't expect such scope from a shot-on-video adult feature, but this late 90's German production is very impressive. The story, (and it is a great one) concerns a handsome young Baron, who has an affair with a nobleman's wife, centuries ago. It turns out that the aristocratic couple are secretly vampires, and in a jealous rage the husband demands that his wife turn the young Baron into a bloodsucker. When she refuses out of love for him, her husband does the deed himself, cursing Baron Jean-Pierre to a life of lonely immortality. From that point on the movie traces Jean-Pierre's life through the ages, until present day, where he once again falls for a beautiful woman that he wants to make his own bride.
Well i wasn't expecting so much from "Baron of Darkness," but it's all here. On display are some nice period details, such as locations, sets and costumes. The women are very attractive and a couple of them are downright stunning. And at the center of it all is The vampire Baron, played by the mind-bogglingly sexy Moroccan born actor Zenza Raggi. This is one of those productions that women can enjoy as well as men, thanks mostly to the Gothic romance angle and the presence of Z. Raggi. But be warned; once your woman sets eyes upon this sexy beast, she might lose all interest in you. However the presence of Ron Jeremy should help to restore your self confidence...man that guy is ugly!
This film, at 190 minutes was released on 2 DVD's, and I'm not sure if they can be bought in a set, or if they can even be found at all. But for adult film connoisseurs, "Baron of Darkness" is a must-see film. It might be marred by some poor camera work, but it isn't easy to make something shot on video look great. This is still one of the best adult films I have ever seen. And don't think by the description that this doesn't deliver in the sex department. The sex scenes are many, and every cum shot seems to be a facial. And the Baron's money shots are real gushers. Ol' Zenza gives Peter North some 'stiff' competition :)
