- D.U.D.S. (Dates Unlimited for Desperate Schmucks) dating service has arranged you a blind date with Sandi, a witty tough hot barfly and pool player. Can you verbally spar with her throughout the night and win her over?
- Full motion video interactive movie and wacky black comedy that takes the form of a dating simulation. You're on a blind date in a bar with Sandi, a dominant hot sly taunting pool shark with a mean streak and a weird funny bone. You choose between multiple dialogue options to talk to her. Her mood ring shows you whether your reply has hit the right note with her or not. Some wrong choices will end the date and the game, often in a funny or bizarre way. Others will just change the color of her mood ring to the previous color. However, talking will get you nowhere unless you buy her drinks, but not too many. You only have hundred bucks on you and you'll have to make a judgment call when to pay up and when to keep your money or even win some more or the game will become unwinnable. If you play your game right, she'll take you to her place, where things only get more complicated, surreal and crazy and you'll realize that your job of impressing this strange girl is only halfway done. During the game, you'll also have to deal with various side-characters like her mean kid niece, depressed roommate who just got dumped, pizza guy/ex-boyfriend, jealous ex-con/ex-boyfriend, mean female German punk roommate, castrating roommate and, of course, with Sandi's increasingly weird trials. She'll even make you take the Rorschach test. Although the game does have some mature content, there is no sex or nudity. There is only one exception just before the game ends, when you get the chance to meet a couple of dream girls, who would love to show you what they've got if you've had enough correct answers on the Rorschach's test. If you get stuck, there's a hint system. If you drop the ball and lose the game, you'll be made fun of by Richard, the annoying employee of the dating service that set you up with the date, who loves to dress up and serves as your "guardian angel". The game has a rock soundtrack performed by The Murdered Johns. The game also has the so-called "boss" button that you're suppose to click on to get back to your desktop in case your boss is coming and you're playing the game at work. However, this is just a parody of the concept.
