Sex & Nudity

  • Jill can change into her short skirt/tube top outfit from "Resident Evil 3", which in itself is more revealing than any other outfit in the game. Beyond that, nothing overt.
  • The game contains a puzzle with a naked woman image and bikini pictures scattered on a wall.
  • Any movement while controlling Jill will cause her breasts to jiggle slowly.

Violence & Gore

  • Strong bloody violence.

Profanity

  • Mild language like "Damn", "Hell" and "Bitch" is used. This is also the Resident Evil title to use the word "Shit" in dialogue. Dispute this, there isn't much swearing used.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Surprisingly, there is no alcohol or drug use of any kind even though this is an adult rated game.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This is a horror game.
  • The monsters and the general atmosphere may frighten children under the age of 18.
  • Children under 18 may be scared by the scene where a zombie is first seen eating a man when they are playing as Jill or Chris Redfield in the very beginning of the game. This game has a lot of grisly violence that may be disturbing to some.
  • The game has a very intense atmosphere throughout. The build up of tension in the music enhances the fright factor.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Zombies bite into the players neck, and the player can also decapitate zombies with a gun. Both are very bloodthirsty. Giant Spiders also spit acid. The sound effects can be quite grisly.
