Hypnotic, the production banner headed by Doug Liman and Dave Bartis, has signed a two-year, first-look development pact with NBC Universal Television Studio. The Los Angeles-based company has its oars in a range of waters, from commercial production to marketing campaigns to feature films directed by Liman, whose credits include Go, Swingers, The Bourne Identity and most recently, the Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie starrer Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Liman also directed the pilot of Fox's hit teen soap The O.C. Hypnotic's memorable TV blurbs include the Terry Tate: Office Linebacker Reebok spot that bowed during the 2003 Super Bowl and the creation of the Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival initiative that garnered significant industry attention.
