The writers of this entry in the Brady remake series, Lloyd J. Schwartz & Hope Juber, are children of original Brady Bunch TV series creator, Sherwood Schwartz.
Paramount had hoped to release a third Brady Bunch movie one or two years after A Very Brady Sequel (1996). However they faced two problems one being that while the sequel got some good critical reviews it made half as much at the box office as The Brady Bunch Movie (1995) did and the kids from the first two films were outgrowing their roles, particularly Jennifer Elise Cox and Christine Taylor who play Jan and Marcia respectively were getting close to 30 years old. They decided to compromise by making a TV sequel and would only do so under the condition that Shelley Long and Gary Cole reprise their roles as Mr. and Mrs. Brady. When they agreed Alice and the kids were all recast for the sequel. It is unknown why Henriette Mantel who played Alice in the first two films was unavailable for this one.
Third Brady Bunch movie derived from the original television series The Brady Bunch (1969). The first two films were The Brady Bunch Movie (1995) and A Very Brady Sequel (1996). Of these three movies, The Brady Bunch in the White House (2002) was the first to be made for television, though in some territories, the first and second film were released straight to video.
The only movie in the Brady Bunch movie trilogy directed by a male.

Eisenhower, George Bush, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, Theodore Roosevelt, John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.
