Funny concept
michael-wonder7 October 2009
Well the other guy is right, in a way. The concept was that 4 movies would run LIVE at the same time on different channels, and you would edit the movie yourself by changing between the channels. You could end up watching a very confusing movie if you changed the channels on the wrong times. But if you changed at the right times it was not as confusing. The cool thing was that everybody saw the same plot and the same people, but everybody saw a different movie.

BUT later the 4 directors would edit the movies down to one movie that was on t.v. the next year, and I THINK that was a very good movie.

But everybody likes different stuff

Terrible confusing improvisation!
Board3 February 2003
If I'm not mistaken this was broadcasted new years day here in Denmark LIVE! It was the four directors sitting with a monitor each following a group of actors telling them what to do (improvised) and the four groups paths would cross at one point or another. All in all it was a big mess in my opinion and I was terribly disappointed and everybody I've heard commenting on it said the same thing (not saying that you should think so too, though). There wasn't anything exciting, nothing that grabbed my interest and it just showed that the four directors should stick to a written script (Lars Von Trier even made the best film I've ever seen, "Breaking the waves"). I guess that if you're a Dogme fan you would appreciate this, but I've never really been a fan of that concept, although some of the films are alright I guess.
