beautiful small film

It´s incredible how stupid films all over the world are distributed all over the world... And this beautiful film is seen only in festivals. I heiled the new cinema from Argentina! Ezequiel Acuña is a young but genial new film maker and the inccidental music is as good as it can be. The mood of Mar del Plata in winter and the last song are the best in years of cinema in south america... Teresa Gant

Beautiful Movie from Argentina
fabelenda26 April 2003
If you like Francois Truffaut, Takeshi Kitano, J.D. Salinger and J.J. Saer, you will love this little masterpiece. Argentina in the 90's have developed a great movement of film makers, young and very personal. I think this film from Ezequiel Acuña is the moment of maturity of this wave.

You will find in Nadar solo a lot of lyricism, melancholy, very fine music and miscommunication. Nicolás Mateo, Santiago Pedrero and Antonella Acosta are really awesome and three of the best actors of a generation. The performance of Nicolas Mateo is full of tenderness and the premature nostalgia of his character is common in teenagers of all ages. See this film in the next Festival near you!! one of my favorites movies of all times

i loved this movie. it's a very simple movie, but with many details and great music. i felt i knew the main character, martin, cause he was so much like me. martin has a good life. a family, good school, no money problems, everything he needs... apparently. yet he is not happy, he is restless, he is looking for something but doesn't know what. he desperately wants to want something but he's just swimming all alone, not connecting, not caring... it's hard to explain, but if you have ever felt like him, you'll understand. he is like a poster boy, but i can't say for what. this movie is a must-see i saw it a film festival a couple of years ago and i was lucky enough to meet the director and the lead actor. they were very nice. i hadn't planned on seeing this movie and the director invited to and told me he'd talk to me after the movie. that day quickly became the best day of my life. i'd tell anyone to watch this movie. if you live in latinamerica you may find it on cinemax, i know they were airing it. like i said, don't miss this movie, you won't regret it.
