full of life
A 26 min documentary on Howrah station in Calcutta, India. A very intense short film, which should be expected as it is based on one of the biggest stations in Asia.
Till Passow has not only captured Howrah as a station but also as a home, a school and a playground amongst others. Some great footage to be seen, I particularly enjoyed the scene where in the platform around the homeless person is cleaned.
Howrah Howrah was created as a part of an exchange program initiated by the Goethe-Institute between the Film and Television Academy "Konrad Wolf" and the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute in Calcutta.
