A Powerful Movie!
sandeep_iitg19 February 2005
A movie which makes you think about the efficacy of the judicial system in India. Venkatesh shines in this movie. He plays the vindictive protagonist to the hilt, and you support him all along despite the violence. The end is immensely satisfying. The movie was made to appeal to a more urban audience and hence did not seem to do well in rural circles. It has moments to satisfy most cinematic tastes, but is primarily intended to stir some thought among the audience as to whether justice can always be delivered in India through the ordinary process through law courts. Venkatesh's transformation through the film deserves a watch and he plays the role with aplomb. This movie also has some decent music. Kota Srinivas Rao delivers some memorably funny dialogues in this film. Vijayashanti plays a good supporting role and looks good too. All in all, a must watch. I would go to the extent of branding it a Telugu classic.
