Compelling graphical presentation of the gulf war execution
morijava18 November 2007
Among so many films, programs, and snapshots, I thought this is the best of bests if you are looking for an easy-to-follow yet comprehensive guide presenting military gears, basic strategies, organizations, deployments of forces, and general execution of the Gulf War. It focuses primarily on the military aspect of the war while its political angle is kept minimum.

Footages from the battle fields and extensive interviews from all ranks and from both sides of the conflict makes this program not only intellectually interesting but also graphically appealing. For example, at the famous battle of 93 easting, it will bring chills up and down your spine when you see a shell from M1 Abrams has pierced an Iraqi T-72 and immediately put it in white flames. Or, A scene of a column of M2 Bradleys were being destroyed by friendly fire is sobering. Though some gruesome pictures do appear, they are kept minimum.

This is not so much good guys or bad guys. This is all about presentation of the power of modern military technologies and the Guld War as a show case of the power.
