Predictable but passable movie dealing with mommy issues

This is one of the early projects of Star Cinema and it's evident they invested on a good story and cast early on. The story revolves around Ana, portrayed by Aiko Melendez and her sacrifices in taking care of Marissa's (Chin chin Gutierrez ) son. When Marissa left for Japan, her son is left in the Philippines and Ana took over mom responsibilities.

The movie was able to tackle the complicated issues of motherhood and the story went on smoothly until the final scene. The only thing that bothers me here is the role of Mike, played by Richard Gomez. It's too predictable that he will play a role in the lives of the two lead girls. But you just have to tolerate such plot in this kind of a telenovela movie.

Overall, the movie was able to convey the difficulties of several issues of motherhood , OFW and poverty in general.
