Sex & Nudity

- Brief sex scene with passionate kissing and rubbing of hands on skin. The woman and man are completely nude; woman's breasts are partially visible, and her buttocks are briefly visible.
- We see a woman put on a shirt in a dark room but only her silhouette can be seen.
- A woman is seen taking a bath and her breasts and nipples can be seen through the water. It is not easily seen.
Violence & Gore

- Kathy steps on a board with nails in it with her bare feet. The board is removed and blood can be seen on the board and dripping down her foot.
- Behrani hits his wife, Nadi, on the face after a heated argument. His son, Esmail, then tackles him and they both fall on a table.
Profanity

- F**k, son of a b***h, damn, and a few other lighter curse words are used at times.

- We see Kathy smoking in several scenes and we see her and at times Lester drinking alcohol in a couple of other scenes. Nothing too graphic.

- The ending is incredibly tragic.
- The last twenty minutes of the film are very emotional and shocking.

Violence & Gore
- Behrani dies after he suffocates himself by putting his head in a bag. Him and his wife die together in bed.
- Esmail is shot in the chest. Blood pours out of the wound and Behrani gets covered in blood while he holds his sons body. Esmail is later pronounced dead at the hospital.

- Kathy takes a whole bottle of pills ( see Frightening/Intense Scenes).
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Earlier in the film, Lester leaves his wife without much of a warning. Later, his wife and two young children are waiting for him when he arrives to work. Lester and his former wife argue and the children start crying and pleading with him.
- Kathy puts a gun to her head and pulls the trigger, thankfully it is not loaded. She does this multiple times throughout the scene.
- Kathy is seen in the bath taking a whole bottle of pills in an attempt to kill herself. Kathy then passes out and Nadi comes in and makes Kathy throw them up.
- Behrani poisons his wife and then suffocates himself.
