The Japanese TV show that launched the whole camcorder footage thing has a lot to answer for; it led to "America's Funniest Home Videos," which led to the British version "You've Been Framed," which led to Sky launching its own copy fronted by Sky Sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher. (She must be glad to be on something watched, as opposed to "RI:SE.")
The trouble with shows like this is that once you've seen one, you've pretty much seen them all, and "Kirsty's Uncut Home Videos" is even more so - more of the same (home videos with "amusing" commentary and sound effects), only with the people naked! The only, and I repeat ONLY, way this might compel non-addicts to tune in again is if it featured Kirsty Gallacher romping in the nude on video. But that would be exploitative, of course.
