• The battletoads can often be seen beating up anthropomorphic rats, pigs, crows.

• The battletoads can often get killed very easily by falling in the pit, getting stabbed by spikes, slamming their hoverbike against the wall, getting electrocuted, getting blown up or shot at by machine guns or crushed to death or eaten by sharks and monster ducks.

• This game is notorious for its excessive extreme difficulty, making it one of the most difficult video games of all time. Levels with intense scenes include Stage 3: Turbo Tunnel, Stage 7: Volkmire's Inferno, Stage 9: Terra Tubes, Stage 10: Rat Race, Stage 11: Clinger Winger, Stage 12: The Revolution are the most intense levels ever and may frustrate many players trying to beat the NES game.
