Laure, Olivia #21 and Clark are maybe cool but this Dorcel movie is a sleeping pill: as expected, the story is about bourgeois, old France, lace and porcelain, well what we call now Porno Chic. Laure has 2 scenes and they are strictly the same: with the chatelain, around a dinner in his blue room furnished with a wood bed: the 2nd scene is a bit hotter than the cold 1st in which we have the expected magical rape: Laure says no, Clark rubs her and she says Yes! Totally silly... Olivia has sex in an antic shop and it's funny to see how her face inflates when she gives a blow-job! It's almost like a nature documentary!

Intriguing fantasy introduces a major French star

Marc Dorcel has recently reissued this 1996 movie (notable as Laure Sainclair's first starring role in hardcore porn), an elegant fantasy that holds up extremely well 26 years later.
Directed by Dorcel himself, it stars Christoph Clark, providing some dramatic acting, as a broken man who gets his life back in tried & true fantasly film fashion.
Opening scene has Clark in his tiny studio apartment (so small the bed is right next to the dinner table, handily) where a celebration with his lady (Sinclaire, looking fab) suddenly turns into forced sex with her. With standard porn logic she instantly switches to enjoying the humping, but after its climax (a faked "cum in the mouth" shot), she storms out, leaving him.
Clark wanders, despondent, by the Seine and a montage indicates his decline via gambling, ending up in an old curio shop, named Ali Baba, where a vintage gramophone is playing an old 78rpm record. He voyeuristically watches the shop owner Roberto Malone f*cking glamorously styled Olivia Del Rio (both ubiquitous stars at the time of many a Joe D'Amato porn video), and Malone ends up selling him a magical leather cloth (looks like a chamois one might use to polish one's auto) -CC pays with his watch, clearly down on his luck. He briefly witnesses more sex (as a voyeur) with cafe manage Jean Yves Le Castel forcing waitress Sandra to have sex with him, and then he returns home to his apartment, for the movie's climax, as Laure Sainclair returns home as if nothing had happened between them, they make love, and Clark returns to the Ali Baba shop to give the chamois back to Malone and retrieve his watch, much like a pawn shop transaction. Movie ends with Malone using the cloth to attract another passing beauty for his own satisfaction Besides boating an extraordinarily vast cast of a couple dozen players including many prominent European stars, the movie presents a fascinating combination of fantasy and realistic scenes, with endless sexual content (emphasizing anal sex) and some fine acting. I was pleased to see it back in circulation, and though originally released in 1998 in America subtitled by Vivid Video (not one of the many later Sainclair movies released here successfully by Wicked Pictures), I was able to easily follow the narrative with only a French soundtrack to go by.
