The cheerleading coach's scarf changes from tied around her neck in a knot, to just hanging loose.
When Melissa is talking to the Sheriff on the phone, behind her is a window with curtains. The curtains are white with a light green criss-cross pattern. At this point, we see her and the Sheriff talking back and forth from shot to shot. Suddenly, and for only one shot, the curtains behind her change into a flower pattern.
When the power is cut in the house, everyone is sitting in the living room. They use the fire in the fireplace and light candles to see. Moments after this, The coach decides to take a shower and go to bed. When she gets upstairs however, the lights in the bathroom are on even though the rest of the house is shrouded in darkness.
When Buzzy is peeking in the window, spying on the couple in bed, all of the exterior shots show the curtains wide open. All of the interior shots show the curtains nearly closed.
When the couple are making love in bed, we see around the room in different angles that the room is filled with candles. There are three on the dresser, and one on each nightstand. As they finish, the girl rolls over and pinches out the candle on her side. However, as she does this, the room goes completely dark. There were at least four other candles in the room that were still lit.

Deputy Adams said she heard gun shots on the 2 way radio after speaking with Sheriff Murdock. The Sheriff had dropped the receiver prior to the gun shots, and therefore would not have been able to hold the transmit button required for the shots to be heard over the radio.
