A teenager rides the same bus to school everyday. One Monday a pretty girl gets on the bus and sits in front of him. Although they don't even exchange glances he tells his friend of a love at first sight relationship between himself and the beautiful Veronique.
One of the short film entered into the orange Short Film Award 2002. This short was set entirely on a bus apart from one shot and props should be given for what must have been a demanding environment to shoot for even a 5 minute running time. The film is basically a romantic comedy as we see and hear two contrasting things.
The narration is the teenager telling a romantic tale of him meeting this girl while the pictures show a much different (but no less romantic) scene. The contrast is funny mainly through the narration and the actual events are both funny but slightly sweet. The actor is quite good but never has to do more than be a goofy, brace wearing teenager. Veronique herself never speaks but is mysterious and does well with a few looks.
Overall it is a reasonable comedy that is quite sweet in it's simplicity.
