Great film on the "social conflicts" in an underdeveloped country

I just can't believe NOBODY wrote anything about this film... I saw it years ago, yet it still lingers on my memory. It's a shame "cinemagoers" flock for "Spiderman" or whichever other "comic adaptation", but they can't even vote for real cinema with true stories.

This one takes place in a rather derelict, run down square of Cordoba city (a big Argentine city). But, as usual, it could well be Bolivia, Brazil or any other forgotten urban landscape.

No easy solutions nor pompous language is used here. (Unlike many Argentine film with a "social" topic :)". B&W only enhances the stark conditions of life of everybody. Some actors later acted in the masterful "Pizza, birra y faso". Some actors are non professionals. Some ever are kids of the street themselves!
