Pioneers of legal reform
zzmale7 April 2004
The literal translation of the title of this movie is: after the capture.

This movie made in the early era of Chinese reform is one of the pioneers in advocating the badly needed legal reforms in the Chinese judicial systems / law enforcement establishments. Of course, being one of the first often means being cautious, especially in China, not long after the terrible experience of the Cultural Revolution, so the message is hidden: capturing the bad guys does not mean the end, because there are legal procedures, penal systems, and other things needed to be done to complete the job, and these things needed reforms also.
