In 1995, NRI actor Narinder Ardava (Ardawa) (Canadian TV series Chehra fame ) was a backup dancer in the "Laila Laila" song. After having several bad experiences with the film unit's supposed unprofessional behavior, he wrote a article for the local Vancouver Indian newspaper "Link" . The article mentioned he was upset with the dance choreographer making him wait all day, and having to dance behind "small and unsuccessful actors", Sanjay Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty. He also mentioned how all the local dancer's worked for free in the film .
The film marked Sanjay Kapoor's second visit after Beqabu to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Rajat Rawail had some unsettled balances he had not paid while shooting in Vancouver. He left without settling them.
