This show has more porn than car racing
snotflinger20 May 2004
wandered through the video store and saw this movie ...thought cool a movie about unground street racing probably like F&F. 2 min in and you hit the first sex scene which was pretty explicit. There are like 8 or 9 loooong sex scenes which I got soo bored watching i had to fast forward the last ones. Anywho very explicit movie not for family viewing. Also there is only 2 car races in the entire show so I felt it was a little misrepresented. As a plus the girls were pretty darn good looking and the cars that were there were mega trick. Too bad they werent seen in action more. The story wasn't too bad but a little thin. I guess there wasn't time to squeeze in much story between the bumpin.

porn vs car, would rather watch home repair show

Warning: Spoilers
some nice bodies, cars as well as females. writing is horrible. the acting is even worse. if you want a soft core porn, then this movie might work for you. tried to copy the "Fast And The Furious" car racing style, but writing doesn't pull it off. the characters don't make you believe them. without the sex, this movie would have been a one. horrible, utterly horrible. whoever put up the cash to make this movie is definitely visiting a shrink daily! The writing is horrific, thank god they had a few pretty females that get naked often! the ins and outs of the racer and the team owners conflict opponent show that when bad writing hits, not even a tried and true money maker can make money. A total waste of time. The director needs to go back to film school and learn more techniques.

If you don't like porn, don't watch it.

Warning: Spoilers
I didn't know what the movie was all about, I thought it was just some plain racing like The Fast and the Furious, and if I am not mistaken, this was released by Universal or something. The movie starts with some one liners, but you don't really see any action pertaining to street racing. The only action you are going to see is the action between a male and a female character. I wish they categorized this more clearly. Having had watched porn before (who hasn't?) I can easily notice that the settings weren't exactly "cheap" but porn settings nonetheless. The lighting was good and the acting wasn't all that bad. There are no close up s of the genital areas and no "cum shots". Kind of annoying really, but at the same time, it is also entertaining.

The Fast and the Curious!

Warning: Spoilers
I watched this movie almost by accident. It watched it scheduled for a midnight screening on MGM. I wasn't going to be home so I taped it via Sky.

When I watched it the other day, I must admit that I enjoyed it. First of all, you have to keep in mind that it's a blatant copy of the plot of "The Fast and the Furious". Heck, it even features a guy that tries to look like Vin Diesel.

But let's talk about what we care... There's plenty of sex. Almost hardcore. Akira Lane is featured in at least 4 scenes while the rest of the cast's appearances is limited to two.

There are plenty of explicit scenes and that's the most interesting aspect of the movie.

The racing sequences aren't dynamic, interesting, or anything to get your attention.

Sure, there are some kickass cars but the action is limited.

But be honest, you are watching this movie because the sex and the women.

Sure, a hot female cast isn't enough to get your attention. My advice would be: don't waste your money on this. Wait for it to air on cable.

Almost as sexy as it is implausible.

Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

Thrust is a good, recent softcore offering from Playboy/Image. It's not going to go down as a classic by any stretch of the imagination, but it does deliver satisfying helpings of cheesecake and sex. The story was good enough to keep me away from the fast forward button. Not because it was particularly good, but because it was bad in the right way. This movie was made to be watched in MST3K mode.

The movie actually looks pretty good. It's one of the few softcore offerings filmed in 16x9 anamorphic widescreen. There's also a 4x3 version on the disc, but it chops off the sides of the picture and has that "zoomed in" look to it. The car racing scenes are pretty good. They're not as exciting as anything you'd see in something like The Fast and The Furious, but they do look realistic.

But enough of that. There are eight sex scenes. All are boy/girl and all are good. But none are what I'd call spectacular. There are four women who participate in the sex scenes. All of them are attractive and give good performances. The sounds of the actors are always audible over the background music and all the sex scenes play out to completion.

I recommend it.
