I recently attended the Canton, MI preview of The Ugly One.It was Visually stunning. Literally, a heavy metal folklore. The movie pulsates from beginning to end. Writer/Director Patrick Moug creates a world of fantasy and horror set in a small town and steel factory. Utlimately, this movie takes the viewer through a series of journey's. The journey of re-living and moving through the past. The journey of truth and redemption. And the journey of acceptance.
I was impressed with the casting of many local Michigan Actors. The talent was superb. It was well cast and well directed. The film moved quickly from one event to another, leaving the audience waiting for the next revelation.
The Ugly One was a definite piece of beautiful cinematography.
