One thing the Chinese government, as well as Chinese society overlooked was the social and psychological impact of the reform that started in the 1980's. Accompanying the wealth, there comes the stress and problems in a highly competitive modern society. The need for social services is still lagging in China as of today and this film praises those who pioneers in this area.
