British filmmaker Robert (London Voodoo) Pratten gave Fango the heads-up that his second feature Mindflesh is now available for viewing via a number of digital formats. Most notably, it’s available on a two-dvd set, encoded in region-free Ntsc.
Mindflesh, which Pratten directed and scripted from William Scheinman’s novel White Light, is about a young man whose strange visions and obsessions begin to manifest as otherworldly beings, with plenty of grisly creature and makeup FX (by Sangeet Prabhaker). The widescreen transfer is supplemented with over 90 minutes of extras, including:
• Audio commentary by Pratten • Production diaries • Making of a Monster • Special Effects Insight • Bardo • Trailer
The movie is also available to download for on-line viewing or burning to disc; go to the official website here for all those options, and to check out more photos and info on Mindflesh.
