Behind the Scenes of A Playboy Fashion Show SPOILER Warning: Spoilers
Playboy takes you behind the scenes of a fashion show brought together by Betsey Johnson.

SPOILERS, for those who think this movie could have spoilers.

The women get very drunk to calm themselves down. Brooke Berry is noticeably very worried when she takes off her clothes at first. But once she and the other ladies get drunk, they get wild. Suzanne Stokes flashes the audience and one other girl I think forgot her panties. They have a D.J. behind the scenes. You see that there is no competition between the girls for attention and that they are all close friends. Especially the lovely Angel Boris and Nicole Lenz, and bosomed Victoria Silvendt and Carrie Stevens. Also, Donald Trump pays a visit behind the scenes to hug some of the playmates. His current wife Melania Trump also is in view.

End SPOILERS

Unlike other playboy videos, this features no fantasy style clips. Overall, buy it for Angel Boris and all of the other lovelies that will show you what goes on behind the scenes of a fashion show. Make no mistake if you are planning on becoming a model, watch this video, if your daughter is or you or her or son are going to become a designer, watch this video!

A Different Perspective
refinedsugar16 January 2024
I tune into Playboy titles to see beautiful women tastefully getting naked in varying degrees of well filmed scenes. Harmless fantasy. Easy titillation if you will. Leaving 'Playmates on the Catwalk' in an odd spot. A huge number of Playmates appear, but many don't get much focus and because it's a legit fashion show nudity is not the primary purpose.

In Sept 2000, fashion designer Betsey Johnson used Playmates to showcase her Spring 2001 collection in NYC which got mainstream media attention. This title shows off a tightly edited recap of the day's events, moments as you can see below;

"Introduction" (1.5 mins). "New York Arrival" (45 secs). "Betsey Johnson Intro" (30 secs). "Playmate Friends" (30 secs). "Betsey meets Playboy" (1 min). "Victoria Silvstedt" (2 mins). "Makeup" (1.5 mins). "Angel Boris & Nicole Lenz" (4 mins). "Backstage" (1.5 mins). "Karin Taylor" (1 min). "Panties" (2 mins). "Nicole Wood" (2 mins). "Playmate Cam" (1 min). "Brooke Berry" (1.5 mins). "Rehearsal" (2 mins). "Ava Fabian" (2 mins). "Feet" (2 mins). "Gianna Amore" (2.5 mins). "Designing For Playmates (1 min). "Suzanne Stokes" (3.5 mins). "Playmate Sisterhood" (1 min). "Carrie Stevens" (1 min). "End of Runway" (1 min). "Dahm Triplets (2 mins). "Grand Finale" (2 min).

If we aren't seeing the sights on the runway we're backstage in a crowd of people - staff, models, press - chatting, relaxing, changing clothes. That's where most of the topless nudity happens. Some strip down and get playful for the camera or photographers, but it's not common. The sense that many of the ladies are real friends - that Playboy family bond - rings true. Beyond that clips from other videos are reused as highlights. The clothing being shown off isn't eccentric. Ava & Karin stood out the most, but seeing Petra Verkaik even briefly was nice.

'Playmates on the Catwalk' is a unique title and in no way painful or boring to watch, but I won't be revisiting it. It's got a friendly vibe, but the content isn't what I'm looking for. Although Playmates on the runway as opposed to the traditional standard is something I could get behind.
