Maverick filmmakers and sisters Elisabeth and Brenda Fies (The Commune {2009}) have launched their own YouTube channel! The new video channel will feature a new short every week, beginning with their 2011 award-winning effort Scrutinize, about one woman’s very scary trip on the L.A. Metro. Along with their own work, Lis and Brenda will feature genre films from other underground and independent artists. They will also let their subscribers and fans know what films and filmmakers they are watching. In addition to the new YouTube channel, the weekly releases can also be seen on FEARnet.com.
According to the press release:
Those fabulous Fies Sisters are at it again! The genre film festival programmers (BleedFest, Hollywood) and prolific filmmakers have opened their own YouTube channel at www.TheFiesSisters.com.
Brenda and Lis Fies will premiere a new effed up short every Thursday, starting today with scary Scrutinize.
