Masterpiece of social satire
zzmale5 April 2004
The literal translation of the title of this movie is: Perfect hit from misfire.

This movie is a masterpiece of social satire in criticizing the contemporary problem in the current Chinese society in the comical way.

Problems depicted here includes greed, selfishness, egoism, paranoia, and plain madness, all of which are rooted from the rapid change in the modern China during the era of reform. However, audience must realize that these problems are not the result of capitalism, but rather, the painful learning experience after decades of isolation, and this is the only shortcoming of this movie because this is not emphasized enough.
