Modern and unconventional
lor_8 August 2021
Beyond the hot, hot sex of Vivid star Kobe Tai and friends, "Trapped" is a surreal tale of emerging from societal conventions. The script by talented Rick Marx (using one of his silly pseudonyms "Maria LeMans") gives director Paul Thomas (similarly hiding behind his B moniker "Judy Blue") a platform to portray the instant allure of a liberated (sexually) lifestyle.

Kobe and husband Alex Sanders arrive home to find an intruder: smug Mark Davis in the kitchen acting as if he owns the place. Before they can call the police, Mark's girlfriend appears and has sex with their housemaid.

Matters escalate with the arrival of unlikely cop Claudio, who Kobe seduces (for no reason) and soon Alex's anger at Mark's intrusion turns into him falling under the guy's spell as threesomes and group sex occupy the next hour of the movie.

This breaking out from convention and joining wholeheartedly into the disruptors' game is engaging escapism, though I hoped the movie would develop further beyond this initial notion. It ends arbitrarily with the arrival of a sexy new housemaid (Tasha) for a threesome with our couple, after all the intruders plus Alex's fired housemaid have left.
