my explanation about this experimental film

Warning: Spoilers
what's to be seen in this picture? a woman... the woods... woman's face on woods... the woods are her face... her face on sheets... it ends with her face... and oh yeah, don't forget the apples and the dog.

if you have no idea at all who Karen Blixen is/was, be warned: the last image will fill your body with peace, or haunt you like a demon.

so why is this film called Stolen Apples for Karen Blixen? well, I guess, if Blixen was nature, all the images are correct. she steals the apples and eats them (I suppose she would eat the apples, although we cannot very good see what she does with them), although it is - probably - forbidden to do so. what happens next? she gets punished by nature itself, here performed by a strong wind, that makes the dog warn her. sheets from trees, so her face on sheets as nature punishes her for eating the apples, and she dies (a few years before this film was released), but her spirit remains in nature, because she is nature. thus the final image that will bless or haunt you.

this is my opinion and does not rely on facts or data.
