MUNICH -- Austrian pubcaster ORF said Tuesday that it is joining the ranks of broadcasters that will show Michael Moore's anti-Bush documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 on Nov. 1, only months after its theatrical release. German commercial channel ProSieben will broadcast 9/11 on the same evening (HR 10/7), and the film will be available in the United States on In Demand pay-per-view television as part of a Michael Moore Election Special. ORF will run Fahrenheit as the climax of its U.S. election background coverage, which includes two other critical documentaries over the next two weeks: People Like Us: Social Class in America, by Andrew Kolker and Louis Alvarez, and Robert Greenwald's Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism.
