When Laura looks at the painting in the library before Dr. Feels is murdered, the game comments it is portrait of a bloodhound (maybe Beauregard), pointing out that the dog's eyes look strange. When looking at it after Dr. Feels is murdered, the game message is "A picture is a picture. You see nothing of interest".
In Act IV, when Laura enters the guest room she shares with Lillian, Lillian is there. However, when typing "look at Lillian", the game message is "You must be confused. Lillian is not here".
After Laura pulls the bell down, the metal crank attached to it is visible. If Laura takes it, leaves the screen and returns - the crank is seen still attached to the bell, although Laura has it in possession and cannot take it again.
When typing "stand" in the dining room, the game message is "Are you sure you are keeping track are what you are doing?".
In Act V, if Laura tells Celie about Dr. Feels' bag or about Gloria and Clarence, Celie's response is "SSSSSSSSSSSSX".
Fifi listens to Maurice Ravel's 'Bolero' on her Victrola in one scene. The game is set in 1925, Bolero premiered in 1928 and no official recordings were made until 1930.
In the opening sequence on the dock there is a crate with the letters SFO on it. SFO is the airport code for San Francisco International Airport which was not opened until 1927 while the game takes place in 1925.
The game is set in 1925 however, the undergarments depicted in this game are actually modern (1989) styles.
In the opening sequence, Laura is at Tulane University, but St. Louis Cathedral is in the background, which is actually on the opposite side of New Orleans.
According to Laura's notebook, the cigar butt is one of the ten items which require close scrutiny. But unlike the other nine items, examining the cigar butt with the monocle does not reveal anything interesting about it.
