'Wet & Wild' series has had a lot of peaks & valleys. The first five titles are incredibly dated and tame due to their age. 'Locker Room' was great. 'Hot Holidays' had it's moments. Then 'Slippery When Wet' was pretty good, but we've dipped again. I thought 'Bottoms Up' might focus on the female behind due to the title, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
After a unique intro consisting of nude close-ups (not sure who we're looking at) we get a segment called "Frisky Business" involving window cleaners (Kim & Stacy Sanches) who make an overworked office worker's day brighter (6 mins). Followed by "Cream & Sugar" where Playmates (Echo Johnson, Angel Boris) get milk poured over their bodies (2 mins). "Gone Fishin" has two ladies (Rachel Jean Marteen & Tylyn John), but the best shots have to do with Rachel's butt for sure (3.5 mins).
"Splashin' Fashion" gives us a foursome (Jennifer Lavoie, Maria Checa, Stacy Sanches, Kim Sanches) as they pose solo, in pairs or all at once. I've seen Maria in a few Playboy videos, but she looked the best here (3.5 mins). "Wet Zeppelin" (Echo Johnson, Angel Boris, Jessica Lee) features bikinis and water balloons (3 mins). "Menage Mirage" is a ffm lost at sea fantasy (Jennifer Lavoie, Maria Checa) that has a few good views and works best when the dude is gone (5.5 mins).
"Huddles and Puddles" is ladies (Anna Marie Goddard, Victoria Fuller, Tylyn John) washing a car and an outdoor tackle football game. It doesn't feature enough nudity, but provides a nice look at Anna Marie (3 mins). "Golden Assets" is a trio of ladies (Stacy Sanches, Kim Sanches, Necole Velasquez) in golden bikinis & skirts. "Bubble Beauties" is the women (Danelle Folta, Angel Boris, Echo Johnson) getting to play with squirt guns. Wasn't fond of either of these before the title wraps on "That's Amore". A boy/girl with too much story setup and not enough consistent nudity from the cutie (Jessica Lee) onscreen (7 mins).
As you can see, 'Bottoms Up' goes out on a long low note. Not a good way to end a video which was the ninth entry into the 'Wet & Wild' series and in many ways the finale. Another sequel followed in 2002, but it wasn't on the same level. It ditched the production qualities found here in favor of more consistent eye candy than what we definitely got here.
