I am angry at how our nation treated the Vietnam veterans unfairly blaming them for the war and calling them criminals and baby killers. I fought in Desert Storm and got the love and respect and welcome home so unfairly denied them and never forgot how lucky I was. I am glad that today America has grown up and even the people who are against the wars still love our troops. Dave Roever went to war as an idealistic young Christian and his faith was tested in the greatest way imaginable when a phosperous grenade exploded in his hand resulting in terrible burns over forty percent of his body that left him horribly disfigured. Through the love of a good woman he was able to overcome and share his story and inspire so many. I have had the pleasure of meeting this giant of a man three times and trust me he is inspirational beyond words. Everyone should watch this video about a great man and the power of God.
