You know This Means War!
boblipton1 December 2020
When the family in the apartment next door begin a musical jamboree, the artist can't get any work done. He and his wife decide to make them suffer.

This is a short comedy from the Nestor Company, the oldest film studio in Hollywood. Now it was part of the Universal Film Company, but alas, this slapstick short is full of holes. While it is true that few studios could match the resources and editing of Mack Sennett, this one was done on the cheap, and there was no effort made to match interiors with exteriors, or props from one shot to the next. The result is funny enough if you like simple destruction as the be-all of comedy, but some of us think tha there should be some internal logic..... and matched shots.
